Autism Afterschool18 Jan - 24 Apr
Project Learn & Grow is a community-based instruction program (4x per month for 4 months) for children ages 9 and up that will incorporate gardening activities and student presentations to target social and functional skills. Project Learn & Grow is in partnership with Cornerstone Learning Community and will have typically-developing students working with students with disabilities.

Project Learn & Grow23 Jan - 24 Apr Progressive Pediatric, Cornerstone Learning Community, and the Damayan Garden Project are sponsoring a community garden maintained by students with disabilities and typically developing students. This garden is part of the "Plant A Row" campaign and is partially-funded through the State Farm Good Neighbor Service-Learning grant. All produce will be donated to: HOPE Community, a local housing shelter. This project unifies students with disabilities and typically developing students by acknowledging them as equal partners addressing a social cause together. All Progressive students will have learning objectives and progress monitoring of targeted skills. When: Between January 23rd through April 24th students will meet for hands-on gardening activities and community forums where students will present their activities.
